Bakhtiari - Handmade Rug

Description
Hand-knotted in the tradition of the Bakhtiari, a historically nomadic Persian tribe from Iran's Zagros Mountains whose rugs are known for the "kheshti," or garden-panel, layout: a grid of compartments, each holding its own small scene of trees, flowers, or birds, echoing the look of a classical Persian garden.
Woven from dense, lanolin-rich wool for extra durability, this piece keeps the tribe's signature earthy palette of reds, browns, and indigo.
Size: 280 x 200 cm. This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-made rug and ships as pictured — once it's sold, this exact piece won't be rewoven.
