Terms of Service
Last updated 29 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and BazaarSpot ("BazaarSpot", "we", "us") covering your use of bazaarspot.net and everything on it. By creating an account or using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use BazaarSpot.
1. What BazaarSpot is
BazaarSpot is a shopping hub for discovery. We gather listings from local and online shops so you can browse, compare, favorite, bookmark, and curate them into collections.
We are not the seller. Except where a page says otherwise, we do not own, stock, ship, or sell the items listed. Prices, availability, specifications, and images come from shops or their public catalogs and may be out of date or wrong. Always check the shop's own page before you buy.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old, and able to enter a binding contract, to hold an account.
- BazaarSpot may run in invite-only mode. In that case you need a valid referral to register, and invitations are personal — do not sell or publish them.
- Give accurate registration details and keep them current. One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Purchases from third-party shops
Links from BazaarSpot take you to shops' own websites and storefronts. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that shop, governed by their terms, prices, payment, delivery, warranty, return, and refund policies. We are not a party to it and have no responsibility for the goods, the transaction, or the shop's conduct. Complaints about an order go to the shop; tell us as well, and we will look at whether the shop belongs on BazaarSpot.
Cart and checkout inside BazaarSpot are not live yet. If we launch them, we will publish the additional terms that apply, and using them will mean accepting those terms.
4. Commercial relationships
Some listings, placements, or outbound links may be sponsored, or may earn us a commission or referral fee when you click or buy. This never changes the price you pay. Sponsored placements are labeled where they appear, and listings or profiles compiled automatically rather than published by the shop itself are labeled too.
5. Your content
Collections, reviews, ratings, comments, photos, shop details, and anything else you post stay yours. By posting, you grant BazaarSpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, publish, and distribute that content in order to run and promote the service. The licence ends when you delete the content, apart from copies in backups and content others have already saved or reshared.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm that:
- you own it, or have the rights to post it and to grant the licence above;
- it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and does not break the law;
- reviews reflect your genuine experience, and you disclose any payment or incentive you received to write one.
6. Rules of use
Do not:
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that targets or exposes another person;
- impersonate anyone, or claim a shop or profile you have no authority over;
- post fake, paid, or coordinated reviews and ratings, or otherwise manipulate rankings, recommendations, or click counts;
- spam, phish, or send unsolicited promotions to other users;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-copy the site, or use bots and automated access, except as a robots.txt-respecting search engine index or under a written agreement with us;
- break, overload, probe, or bypass the security and access controls of the service, or reverse engineer any part of it;
- upload malware, or use the service to distribute it.
7. Shops and merchants
If you claim or onboard a shop, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business and that the details, catalog, and any integration credentials you provide are accurate and yours to share. You grant us the right to display your shop name, logo, listings, and images on BazaarSpot and in materials promoting the service. You remain responsible for your listings, prices, and claims, and for complying with the law wherever you sell.
We may list publicly available information about a shop that has not registered. If you represent a shop and want its listing corrected or removed, write to [email protected] and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
If you connect a store (for example through our Shopify app), we process its data on your behalf and only to run the service: we sync your catalog and discounts, and we read orders placed through a BazaarSpot checkout to confirm the purchase and report the sale to you. From those orders we keep the order number, time, currency, items, quantities, and amounts; we do not keep your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, or addresses, and we never sell your or your customers' data. We protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures, and delete it when your platform or you ask us to, including after you uninstall the app. You remain responsible for telling your own customers how their data is used, and our Privacy Policy describes our side.
8. Moderation and intellectual property
We may review, edit, hide, or remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, when we reasonably believe these terms or the law have been broken, or to protect our users. We are not obliged to monitor content, and we do not endorse what users post.
The BazaarSpot name, logo, design, software, and the compilation of listings and data on the site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. If you believe content on BazaarSpot infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the URL, a description of the work, and your contact details; we will investigate and remove infringing material where the claim is valid.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including the first-party analytics and outbound-click measurement that make discovery and recommendations work. Using BazaarSpot means you have read it.
10. Changes, availability, and termination
The service is under active development. We may add, change, or withdraw features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or stop offering the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use BazaarSpot after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Disclaimers
BazaarSpot is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty about the accuracy, completeness, or currency of listings, prices, availability, reviews, or recommendations, or about third-party shops and their goods.
12. Liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BazaarSpot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or purchases made from third-party shops. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or consumer rights you cannot waive.
You agree to indemnify BazaarSpot against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or the law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer you keep the protections and the right to sue in the courts of your country of residence where local law gives them. Please contact us first; most problems are settled faster that way.
14. General
These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any terms shown for a specific feature are the whole agreement between us. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.
