During the last decade Zambia has attempted to develop a system of higher education to meet its development needs. The book discusses traditional manpower forecasting, data limitations, and the lack of coordinated data for higher education. It presents a model relating higher education to the labour market, examining patterns of employability and graduate supply, and lays the foundation for a national information system to guide policy makers in developing higher education.
