Woven in the tradition of Nain, a city in central Iran whose weavers turned from making fine wool cloaks to rugs in the early 20th century — quickly producing some of Persia's most refined carpets, known for ivory-and-blue palettes and fine floral medallions, often outlined in silk for extra sheen.
