TARO Ribbed Bench

Description

The TARO Bench is a sculptural upholstered bench defined by a rhythmic sequence of soft, rounded cylindrical forms. Its repeated ribbed construction creates a strong architectural identity while maintaining a warm, tactile and comfortable appearance.

Fully upholstered from top to base, TARO has no visually exposed structure, allowing it to read as one continuous soft sculpture. It works beautifully at the end of a bed, in an entrance, dressing room, living space or as statement seating in a commercial interior.

Customization

TARO can be produced in custom dimensions, fabrics and colors. The number and width of the upholstered ribs can also be adjusted according to the required overall bench length.

Available in monochromatic upholstery as shown or with contrasting fabrics between the seat and supporting elements.

Product Story

TARO explores rhythm through repetition. A single soft geometric element is repeated across the bench to create a larger architectural composition.

The design removes conventional distinctions between seat, frame and legs. Instead, every component follows the same rounded upholstered language, giving the piece the character of a continuous soft sculpture while retaining the functionality of everyday seating.
