About the Artwork

Henri Matisse painted The Dance in 1910 for a Russian art collector. It was radical at the time -- flat colours, no perspective, just bodies moving. Art critics did not know what to do with it. Today it hangs in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, and you can wear it on a white oversized tee in Cairo.
