The C.303 manufacture movement from Chronoswiss, represents the highest precision and engineering excellence. First introduced in 2020, this movement is distinguished by its CVD-Coating, the Côtes de Genève decoration and the spectacular flying Tourbillon, making a full turn every 60 seconds . Developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, featuring 60 hours of Power reserve this complex movement is to be found in all timepieces of Chronoswiss featuring a flying Tourbillon.
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.

Chronoswiss harnesses the versatility of CVD coatings to infuse watch cases and dials with vibrant hues like blue, purple, and color-shifting tones. This complex gas-phase process enables precise, uniform coatings even on complex surfaces, optimizing for durability, resistance, and aesthetic appeal.

The Underworld's name was chosen to evoke the hidden realms of exceptional watchmaking, bringing to light the allure of what is rarely seen - the intricate dance of gears and springs that is often shrouded in secrecy. Chronoswiss has a legacy of breaking with conventions and pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. The Open Gear Tourbillon Underworld timepiece is another high-end testament to this pioneering spirit. It stands not just as a keeper of time, but as a keeper of secrets, representing 40 years of Chronoswiss watchmaking while gleaming boldly into the future.

Family owned for more than 40 years, Chronoswiss combines traditional watchmaking with modern design, innovative materials, and exquisite craftsmanship. Since the foundation in 1983 we have been reinterpreting Swiss watch tradition to create timepieces with a strong character. We break classic conventions with innovation while always maintaining a connection to history. Each model is a tribute to the 21st century, crafted in Lucerne.
