Yellow Scandens Philodendron

The Heartleaf Philodendron—aka Yellow Scandens—is basically the plant version of a hug.

With its adorable heart-shaped leaves and chill personality, it’s no wonder this tropical beauty is a favorite in homes everywhere. Native to South and Central America and the West Indies, it brings year-round greenery without any drama.

New leaves pop out with a soft bronze glow before settling into that classic deep green—kind of like a little plant surprise every time. And while it’s rare, if your plant’s feeling extra happy, it might just gift you a few tiny greenish-white flowers. Total sweetheart move.
